The value for money at Barn Laos was exceptional. The room was clean and cozy, with the most comfortable bed I've had in Southeast Asia. The location was a bit far out, but the staff suggested using a taxi app which made getting around cheap and easy. The staff were friendly and always ready to help.
Food for breakfast could have been better with a greater variety of options.

The hostel had clean and comfortable beds, and the location was great. the staff was friendly and helpful, and the open plan layout made it feel sociable. the balcony was a lovely place to relax, and the self-catering kitchen was convenient for making my own breakfast. the hostel provided sim cards, which was a nice touch.
That the privacy curtains on the beds didn't fully cover the space, allowing people to see in a bit. because the building was quite open, mosquitoes occasionally made their way into the room.

The community kitchen was a great feature, and I enjoyed cooking my meals there. The bathroom, although not completely divided between males and females, was clean and well-maintained. The privacy curtains and individual bed lights and plugs were a nice touch, making it a comfortable stay. The staff, especially Parn, were incredibly helpful and always had a smile on their faces. I had a wonderful time at Barn Laos and would definitely recommend it to others.

Great location with easy access to night markets and city attractions. The hostel offers a make-your-own breakfast with a good variety of options. Clean bathrooms and comfortable private rooms make for a cozy stay.
Some noise disturbances at night due to loud footsteps and unsecure doors. The mixed dorm room is small for six beds.
